Job summary

DDN is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure across Kubernetes-based platforms, GitOps workflows, containerized services, monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.

You will automate testing and deployment, improve developer productivity with Python-based automation, provide technical leadership to junior engineers, and drive reliability, performance, and observability using Grafana, Alertmanager, Argo CD, and Harbor.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with Python in Linux environments.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience developing automation tools, services, and tests.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of Git-based development and source control best practices.
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs, automated tooling, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain applications within the organization's Kubernetes platform.
• Design and implement improvements to CI pipelines, test execution systems, and automated validation processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks with a strong emphasis on Python-based test infrastructure and automation.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis of test failures, deployment issues, infrastructure problems, and CI pipeline failures.
• Support GitOps-based deployment using technologies such as Argo CD and Harbor.

• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, AI-assisted workflows, and tooling improvements.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and operate the infrastructure and automation that enables software development and testing across the organization. This role will focus on modernizing and scaling our DevOps ecosystem, including Kubernetes-based platforms, GitOps workflows, containerized services, monitoring and observability solutions, and CI/CD infrastructure.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will deploy and manage shared services, improve developer productivity through automation and AI-enabled workflows, and increase the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our engineering systems. A significant focus of this role will be the deployment and operation of services within our Kubernetes environment using technologies such as Argo CD, Harbor, Grafana, Alertmanager, and other Kubernetes-native tooling. The role will also play a key part in the continued development and maintenance of our automated testing and CI frameworks, with a strong emphasis on Python-based automation and test infrastructure.
