Job summary

IQVIA Inc. is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in India to design and develop software solutions spanning front-end and back-end layers.

You will analyze user requirements, participate in data engineering tasks, and contribute to data management and BI initiatives within a collaborative team. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and have hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in SQL, ETL, data warehousing and data modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud databases and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with data management and BI tools is a plus.

Data Management: Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Stewardship, Data Governance. Good to have : Reltio MDM, Informatica MDM, Data Governance (Collibra)

Full Stack Engineering: .NET, Full Stack Development, REST API Development, Java. Good to Have: Angular, React, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, TypeScript, NestJS, .NET API, C#

Analytics & BI: Reporting, Data Analysis, BI Development, Data Modeling. Good to Have: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, DAX

Years of Experience:

Grade 130 - 2 to 4 years; Grade 140 - 5 to 7 Years; Grade 150 - 8 to 12 Years

Essential Functions

• Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience.
• Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.
• Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.
• Supports and may lead projects within own organization with limited complexity, including the development of small to medium size system components.
• Has broad understanding of quality standards and work requires minimal revision.
• Reviews functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned.
• Provides peer support and helps on-board new Associate Software Engineers to the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
