Bloomberg’s Engineering office in Pune, established in 2014, is now a major global engineering center. As the office grows, we’re looking for Senior Software Engineers who want to build impactful systems and contribute to the evolution of Bloomberg’s Core Products and data platforms.
Bloomberg runs on data. Our products are fueled by powerful information. We combine data and context to paint the whole picture for our clients, around the clock - from around the world. In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news, and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem solving skills to identify workflow efficiencies and implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products, and processes.
Our Team:
The Company Financials (COFI) Engineering team builds the systems and workflows that power Bloomberg company financial data. We acquire financial documents from global markets, extract and enrich millions of data points, and combine heuristic and AI/ML-based solutions to classify and enhance company metrics. Our platforms support the Bloomberg Terminal, Enterprise products, and core Equity workflows, while intuitive applications enable Data Analysts to complement automation with human insight. Pune is a core engineering hub for COFI in APAC. The team works closely with global Engineering, Product, and Data partners and with Data Analysts across APAC to design scalable, regionally intelligent solutions for complex financial-data workflows.
The Company Financials team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join us in Pune. You will design and build high-performance, scalable, and resilient systems that support Bloomberg's next-generation financial data platforms. You will own complex engineering problems end to end - from understanding requirements and shaping technical design through implementation, production readiness, and ongoing operational excellence. As a senior member of the team, you will also influence architecture, mentor engineers, and help raise engineering standards across the group.
