Job summary

Google Bengaluru seeks software engineers to develop next-generation technologies that power billions of users as they connect, explore, and interact with information. You will work on projects that scale and influence products beyond web search, contributing to distributed systems, AI, and data storage.

As part of the Core team you will design, test, deploy, and maintain software, manage priorities and deadlines, and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software products; 1 year in design/architecture.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
