TeamViewer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer C++/C# to contribute to our remote access platform and backend services. You will work in an agile environment on modern C++ and .NET technologies to deliver robust, scalable software.

You will design, implement and maintain features, APIs, and services, participate in code reviews, and mentor teammates while ensuring quality and timely delivery. English fluency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer C++/C# to actively contribute to the development of our remote access solution and backend services using modern C++ and C#/.NET technologies. The position will report to the Team Lead Software Development and provides an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment.

• Design and develop new functionality for our software solutions using C++ (primary focus) and C#.

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful web APIs using C# (.NET).

• Continuously participate in application design to further enhance our systems and code base regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Work independently on solutions for specified requirements and take responsibility for meeting time and quality specifications.

• Continuously integrate, build, and deploy our solutions from test systems to production.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality and development practices.

• Support the maintenance and modernization of existing software components while developing new features.

• Act as an advisor towards product owners regarding feasibility studies and estimates for new functionality.

Requirements

• University or college degree in the field of computer science, software engineering, or any other related subject, or relevant work experience.

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development with modern C++.

• Good knowledge of C# backend development and the .NET framework, particularly in developing and maintaining RESTful web APIs and backend services.

• Good understanding of Clean Code and Design Patterns for object-oriented programming.

• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining complex software applications.

• Good understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Experience with unit testing and continuous integration practices.

• Basic knowledge of TypeScript, particularly React, is an advantage.

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and automated build and deployment pipelines is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI tools for coding (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Cursor) is a plus.

• A positive and solution-oriented mindset paired with a structured and analytical way of thinking and working, being a team player, and being motivated to learn new things.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
