Senior C++ Software Engineer role within the TestComplete team.

Product Intro

TestComplete is a test automation tool that helps deliver high‑quality applications quickly, supporting web, mobile, and desktop platforms.

About the role

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of key SmartBear products in the web, mobile, and desktop test automation market.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend components using C++.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate frontend and backend functionalities.
• Participate in technical discussions and requirement analysis to support product development.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure product reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers, testers, UX designers, and product managers.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering with C++.
• 8+ years of experience developing backend solutions.
• Familiarity with Delphi (legacy support).
• Experience with Windows Programming.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Knowledge of design patterns and performance best practices.
• Strong understanding of software development practices and tools.
• Solid problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate ideas clearly.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, quality, and SDK development.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
