Job summary

Blue Machines in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design and build high-scale, low-latency systems for an AI and voice platform. You will own end-to-end backend design, APIs, data models, deployment, and monitoring, with a focus on distributed systems and real-time capabilities.

The role involves building scalable microservices, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability at scale while collaborating with product and AI teams to advance multi-agent orchestration

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of backend development experience in Python or Java.
• Strong grasp of system design, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience building scalable, high-availability APIs or streaming systems.
• Familiarity with WebRTC, SIP, RTP, or real-time communication protocols.
• Experience with cloud environments (GCP/AWS) and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Sound understanding of databases (MongoDB, Redis, Postgres) and message queues (Kafka, Pub/Sub).

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) who can design and build high-scale, low-latency systems for our AI and voice platform. The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering fundamentals, experience with distributed systems, and curiosity about Voice AI, WebRTC, and SIP-based integrations .
