What you’ll do
- Work with a team of engineers to deliver feature sets that are crucial to revenue growth.
- Be a part of a world‑class global organization.
- Push the bar to solve complex technical challenges of scale and performance.
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust, high‑performance backend services and APIs using NodeJS.
- Design and set up NoSQL databases and search indexes required for end‑to‑end API flows.
- Provide mentorship to engineering peers and uphold high standards in code quality and development practices.
- Champion modern, maintainable infrastructure aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in API development.
- Expert programming skills in Python, JavaScript, NodeJS.
- Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands‑on experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience in relational or NoSQL DB such as DynamoDB and search technologies such as OpenSearch, graph DB.
- Ability to pick up new backend technologies as the need arises.
- Familiarity with API standards and frameworks.
- Knowledge to evaluate trade‑offs based on cost, risk, effort analysis.
- Practice in mentoring other engineers and influencing decision makers throughout the organization.
- Consideration of customer impact when making technical decisions.
Ways to Stand Out
- Substantial experience with AI/LLM driven use cases.
- Experience with Code AI tools to gain productivity in coding. Eg. Copilot, Windsurf etc.
- Good problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
- Good written and spoken communication skills are crucial.

This job has a full‑time weekly schedule.
