Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a senior backend engineer to join our IT team, delivering scalable API services and eCommerce experiences. You will architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using NodeJS with a focus on reliability and scale.

You will mentor peers, design NOSQL databases, and work across cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) to deliver end-to-end solutions that drive revenue growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of API development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and NodeJS; hands-on cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust, high‑performance backend services and APIs using NodeJS.
• Design and set up NoSQL databases and search indices for end-to-end API flows.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and uphold high code quality and practices.
