We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) to manage mass roll‑outs of ATS systems in large‑scale railway infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of mass roll‑outs of ATS systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and up to quality standards, and that both technical and commercial aspects of each application scope are met.
- Plan, control and report on ATS projects, establishing comprehensive objectives, preparing project plans and required documentation, and ensuring compliance with defined procedures and processes.
- Coordinate complex application implementation with international partners, ensuring that all defined application goals are achieved.
- Explore and exploit further business opportunities during project implementation, such as identifying change requests or extending project scope toward generic application work packages.
- Provide technical leadership to the application team, including staff resource planning and coordination with the organizational units involved.

Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering or systems engineering, preferably with a railway‑specific specialization.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in railway transportation systems, ideally within the rail systems business, with a focus on engineering in the ATS domain.
- Knowledge of project management principles for project realisation and execution.
- Fluent English—both written and oral; knowledge of German is an asset.
- Independent and structured approach to work.
- Team leadership and mediation skills between teams.
