Job summary

The Hartford in Hyderabad seeks an IND Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy GenAI-driven solutions using Google ADK, LangGraph/Langchain and Vertex AI on GCP. You will collaborate with data scientists, architects, and product teams to deliver AI-powered capabilities that align with enterprise objectives.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of software engineering experience with GenAI projects, strong Python/Java skills, and hands-on work with Cloud Run, IAM, and Vertex AI Search

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in software engineering with GenAI experience.
• Delivered at least one GenAI or Agentic AI project end-to-end.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of Google ADK, LangGraph/Langchain, Vertex AI, and related GCP services.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying Agentic AI solutions using Google ADK, LangGraph/Langchain and Agent Engine on GCP. This role requires deep expertise in GenAI, hands-on experience with Vertex AI, and strong knowledge of GCP services such as Cloud Run, ECS, and Vertex AI Search Engine. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development and Delivery

• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions using Google ADK, LangGraph/Langchain and Agent Engine.
• Build and deploy AI models leveraging Vertex AI capabilities (e.g., Model Garden, AutoML, Generative AI APIs).
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications and workflows for automation and decision-making.
• Develop scalable and secure AI services using Cloud Run, ECS, and other GCP components.
• Optimize AI pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.

Innovation and Strategy

• Drive adoption of GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks across business units.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) for emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure AI solutions align with technology strategy and reference architectures.
• Stay current with AI trends, frameworks, and best practices to propose innovative solutions.

Collaboration and Enablement

• Work closely with data scientists, architects, and product teams to deliver AI-driven business capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on AI development practices.
• Document AI solution architectures, patterns, and reusable components.

Required Skills

• Experience: 2 to 4 years in Software Engineering, with at least 2+ years in GenAI and Agentic AI development.
• Project Delivery: Must have delivered at least one GenAI or Agentic AI project end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in Google ADK, LangGraph/Langchain, Agent Engine, and Vertex AI.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Cloud Run, ECS, Vertex AI Search Engine, IAM, and networking.
• Solid understanding of GenAI patterns, LLM fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
• Programming Skills: Python, Java, or similar languages for AI development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Cloud Certifications : GCP Professional Machine Learning Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
