Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the X-Sight Next Gen platform, building microservices and frontend components that tie into cloud-native backend services.

You will participate in Agile, collaborate with teams across India, Israel, and the US, and deploy features to production with a focus on reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in CS or related field.
• 4-6 years of software development experience in Java (11+).
• Experience building, testing, deploying microservices.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
• Nice to have: Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Self-motivated with ownership and drive.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using cloud-native components as a part of X-Sight platform.
• Develop frontend components & integrate with these backend services
• Design & Implementation of software features according to architecture & product requirements.
• Write automation tests to ensure fit to design/requirements.
• Deploy the service & frontend component you developed to production environments & ensure there are no downtimes because of your service.
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools
• Collaborate with various development & product teams in India, Israel and US.

Within Actimise, the X-Sight Next Gen teamis developing the next generation advanced cloud platform for building the solutions to fight Financial Crime. As part of the PaaS/SaaS development group, you will be responsible for developing the relevant platform services for Actimise cloud-based solutions and to work with cutting edge cloud technologies.

• Good-to-have: Experience with DevOps skills such as Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and drive
• Good problem solving and interpersonal and communication skills; friendly disposition; work effectively as a team player
