About you: We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software and solving complex technical challenges. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll spend most of your time designing, developing, and delivering production software while influencing architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction. You'll join a collaborative team consisting of a Tech Lead, four engineers, and Product partners, with quality fully owned by engineering. As a senior member of the team, you'll mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and be the go-to expert for complex design and implementation decisions. Part of Access Hospitality's F&B Software portfolio, you'll help power millions of guest experiences every day across a suite of hospitality technology products used globally. AI-enabled development is a core expectation of this role. We are looking for engineers who actively leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and continuously enhance team effectiveness.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Design, build, and deliver high-quality software across backend services, frontend applications, APIs, and integrations, with ownership of reliability, performance, security, and quality in production.
• Lead technical decision-making by driving architecture, engineering standards, code quality, CI/CD practices, observability, and incident resolution within the team.
• Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving, helping raise the overall capability of the team.
• Champion modern engineering practices, including AI-augmented development, while proactively addressing technical debt and contributing to hiring and technical talent assessment.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software that consistently meets production availability, performance, and quality standards.
• Drive engineering excellence by improving delivery speed, increasing deployment frequency, reducing incidents, and ensuring rapid resolution when issues occur.
• Lead by example through high-quality code reviews, technical mentorship, and knowledge sharing that visibly strengthens the capability of the team.
• Champion AI-driven development and continuous improvement, promoting modern engineering practices while preventing recurring defects and operational issues.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

• Strong full-stack software engineering experience with a proven track record of designing, building, and owning production systems across backend, frontend, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Passion for modern engineering practices, including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, architecture design, security-by-design, and continuous improvement.
• AI-first mindset, with hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and enhance team productivity across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with modern technology stacks such as .NET/C#, TypeScript/React, Java, Azure, AWS, SQL, containers, and cloud-native architectures, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
