Responsibilities

• Work on distributed, scalable, high-performance containerized micro service-based application.
• Ensure high quality of design & code through reviews.
• Closely monitor all production issues assigned to the Engineering team and ensure teams follow correct SLAs in the Sustenance model.
• Drive live troubleshooting of the issues along with the support team and other functions such as SREs, and provide workarounds/quick fixes wherever possible leveraging your software development skills.
• Provide hot fixes and patches in production.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of strong hands‑on experience in design & development of Enterprise class solutions using Java; secondary experience with PHP technologies is a plus.
• Strong experience in Application Development.
• Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and/or NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra.
• Professional experience working with indexing technology such as Elastic Search and caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and application design.
• Experience in web application development using REST APIs.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to be a good listener and to understand customer issues.
• Ability to provide innovative workarounds or design solutions to fix customer problems.

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience in Cloud Security and Vulnerability Management.
• Experience with indexing technology like Elastic Search, caching with Redis, Kafka event streaming, and in developing micro‑services deployed as containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
