Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited in Pune invites a Senior Software Engineer to join our GNSS and distributed systems team. You’ll design and implement high-performance software targeting real-time positioning, RTK/PPP workflows, and scalable microservices.

You will collaborate across DevOps, GNSS specialists, and product teams, delivering low-latency, fault-tolerant applications on Linux/Windows, with modern C++ and Python, Docker, and message streaming.

Qualifications

• 7–11 years of experience in software development with a focus on systems programming and distributed applications.
• Strong programming in Modern C++ (C++17/20 or later).
• Hands-on experience with Python development.
• Experience building real-time, high-performance software applications.
• Knowledge of REST and gRPC-based service integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for GNSS correction and positioning services.
• Develop real-time correction data distribution solutions using RTCM, SSR, and OSR formats.
• Implement and optimize RTK and PPP workflows.
• Build scalable microservices-based applications for correction generation, processing, and dissemination.
• Develop high-performance, multithreaded applications using Modern C++ and Python.
• Integrate messaging and streaming technologies such as ZeroMQ and Kafka for low-latency data transport.

What You'll Do:

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 7-11 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on systems programming and distributed applications.
