Qualifications

Your Impact/ What You Will Be Doing

• Independent Design & Implementation: Independently design, implement, and lead the development and testing of scalable web application features. Take end‑to‑end ownership of critical components across modern frontend frameworks and robust backend services.
• Complex Problem Resolution: Provide solutions to complex issues in creative and effective ways. Proactively debug, diagnose, and resolve a wide range of complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks across the stack with limited guidance. Understand the interrelationships of different disciplines and apply this knowledge to system design.
• Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Serve as a subject matter expert to mentor junior engineers, lead complex cross‑team code reviews, and help set quality and performance standards. Adapt style to differing audiences and often advise others on difficult matters.
• Code for Scale & Efficiency: Optimize existing code and system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability, translating complex product and technical requirements into clean, efficient, and working code.
• Strategic Collaboration: Engage in cross‑functional collaboration with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver world‑class enterprise SaaS products used by global customers. Enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners.
• Tactical Accountability: Determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.
• Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related professional software development experience.
• Location: This is an on‑site opportunity based in Pune with 3‑4 days work from the office. Only candidates willing to be based in Pune will be eligible.

Qualifications

• Mastery in Data Structures & Algorithms: A strong foundation, including a clear understanding of time and space complexity.
• OOP Fundamentals: A solid grasp of Object‑Oriented Programming concepts is essential.
• Web Basics: Foundational knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend programming (Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python).
• Architectural Awareness: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and end‑to‑end application communication, as well as an awareness of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git.
• AI‑Assisted Development: Working knowledge of coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps workflows, release management, and continuous improvement principles.
• Cloud Platforms: Understanding of core AWS services across compute, storage, and networking for SaaS deployments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Containers & Orchestration: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized microservices.
• Monitoring & Observability: Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for metrics and distributed tracing.
• CI/CD: Understanding CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
