Rempact is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our trading tech team in Kolkata/Mumbai. You will design, develop, and optimize software infrastructure for high-frequency trading systems, focusing on robust, high-performance C++ code.

You'll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, implement efficient algorithms, review code, and help maintain uninterrupted trading uptime while keeping pace with industry trends.

Qualifications

Position: Sr. Software Engineer

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Required: 4-7 years

Client: High Frequency Trading firm

Your Role

This is a core development position within our software development and engineering team where you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing the software infrastructure and applications on our trading systems. You will need to be a highly skilled developer with a deep understanding of C++, as well as similar proficiencies across a number of other coding platforms and languages. Prior experience within an existing HFT environment with a proven track record is a plus.

• Collaborating closely with senior engineer and cross functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.


• Developing, testing, and maintaining high quality software applications using C++.


• Analysing and solving complex problems via Data Structures & Algorithms.


• Participating in and performing code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and maintain code quality and robustness.


• Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, promptly identifying and resolving any issues to maintain uninterrupted trading uptime.


• Tracking and onboarding the latest developments in industry trends, trading technologies and best practices.

Our Needs

• Strong foundational proficiency in C++ programming, with a proven track record of writing efficient and maintainable code.
