About you

The Senior Software Engineer maintains and evolves existing iOS and Android apps while leading their transition to a unified React/React Native platform. The role blends hands‑on native and cross‑platform development with product thinking, ensuring reliable, high‑performing apps during ongoing migration. It also requires strong ownership of security, data governance, and performance, alongside pervasive use of AI tools to accelerate development and improve quality.

Day‑to‑day, you will

• Maintain and optimize existing native apps (performance, compliance, bug fixes).
• Lead gradual migration to React/React Native with minimal user disruption.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery: reliability, performance, security, and production operations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and apply pragmatic architecture (shared components, avoid over‑engineering).

Key Performance Indicators

• Meet app health metrics (crash‑free sessions, performance, app ratings).
• Improve delivery efficiency (faster lead time, increased deployment frequency).
• Maintain low failure rates and fast recovery (MTTR, rollback readiness).
• Achieve migration milestones and ensure strong security, governance, and AI adoption.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• Strong experience in native mobile (Swift/Kotlin) and React/React Native development.
• Solid CI/CD, testing, release automation, and feature flag practices.
• Knowledge of security, data governance, and compliance (PII, GDPR, PCI).
• Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), AI tools, and cross‑platform architecture decisions.
