Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), along with solid knowledge of the US Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate should also have effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and interact with clients when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 4–7 years in software engineering / data engineering roles.
• Strong SQL Expertise: Advanced querying, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.
• ETL Experience: Hands-on in developing ETL pipelines (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or cloud-native tools like Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue).
• Power BI (PBI): Strong experience in dashboards, DAX, and data visualization.
• Cloud Platforms (MANDATORY): Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, including data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AWS Glue, Redshift, etc.).
• US Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data models and workflows.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and clients.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.)
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Databricks, etc.)
• Scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.) for data processing
• Exposure to data governance and security standards
