Job summary

Graviton Research Capital, Gurugram, India, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our growth-driven tech team. You will build scalable APIs, backend systems, and AI-powered features, shaping automated workflows and observability across the stack.

You will work on distributed architectures, production-grade services, and cloud-based infrastructure, collaborating with engineers and traders to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and building production-grade REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of event-driven architectures, message queues, asynchronous processing, and background workers.
• Strong database fundamentals, particularly PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals and experience with Docker; Kubernetes experience preferred.
• AWS experience is preferred, with services like SQS, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, or RDS.
• Good understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Experience with LLMs, AI APIs, or AI-powered applications is a strong plus.
• Strong testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting skills.
