Job summary

Optum India is seeking an experienced Salesforce developer to design and implement automation for M&O operations and to build automated monitoring dashboards. The role includes incident triage, RCA, and delivering production-ready Salesforce solutions using Apex and LWC.

You will work on AI-enabled initiatives, integrations via Salesforce APIs, and coordinate offshore/onshore delivery with strong emphasis on SDLC, release processes, and high-availability environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Automation-First M&O Operations
  • Design and implement automation solutions for recurring M&O activities, including monitoring, reporting, validations, and reconciliation processes
  • Eliminate manual operational dependencies by building scalable, reusable automation frameworks
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and SLA adherence through automation
• Intelligent Monitoring & Insights
  • Build automated monitoring solutions and dashboards using non-production data patterns, logs, and metadata
  • Proactively detect anomalies, trends, and potential risks before they impact production
  • Partner with onshore team to enhance observability and improve system health tracking
• Incident Triage, RCA & Resolution
  • Perform detailed triage of incidents to establish root cause using logs, lower environment replication, and data analysis
  • Own end-to-end resolution lifecycle:
    • Root cause identification
    • Code-level fixes
    • Unit and integration testing
    • Deliver shippable, production-ready solutions via onshore deployment model
    • Focus on eliminating repeat issues through permanent fixes and preventative controls
• Salesforce Development & Engineering
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce PNRM solutions using Apex, LWC, APIs, and configurations
  • Support enhancements tied to operational improvements, reliability, and scalability
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise SDLC, quality, and compliance standards
• AI Enablement in M&O (Strategic Responsibility)
  • Contribute to AI-driven transformation initiatives across M&O and PSM product:
    • Intelligent incident triage and classification
    • RCA acceleration using data patterns
    • Predictive monitoring and anomaly detection
• Offshore Delivery & Collaboration Model
  • Operate effectively in offshore model with restricted production access
  • Work closely with onshore team for validation, deployment, and production verification
  • Maintain solid documentation, knowledge repositories, and transition readiness
• Quality Engineering & Release Readiness
  • Perform thorough testing (unit, integration, regression) for all fixes and enhancements before deployment
  • Ensure all deliverables meet release readiness criteria with minimal dependency on production validation
  • Support continuous improvement in release stability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development
• Solid expertise in:
  • Working experience in Java-based development (core Java, APIs/services) for enterprise integrations
  • Hands-on experience in production support / M&O model
  • Experience delivering code fixes, testing, and production-ready (shippable) solutions
  • Experience with SDLC, change management, and release processes
  • Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce
  • Salesforce APIs and integrations
  • Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow automation
  • Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare / Medicaid / Provider Management systems (PNRM preferred)
• Exposure to automation tools (Python, scripting, reporting automation, etc.)
• Hands-on or working experience in:
  • AI agents creation / agent-based workflows
  • Salesforce Einstein (Einstein Automate, Einstein GPT, or AI-driven workflows)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML or GenAI use cases in operations (nice to have, not mandatory)
  • Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery model with restricted production access
  • Knowledge of monitoring, SLA tracking, and operational reporting
