Job summary

Keleno is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop scalable, secure software solutions and own complex features from design to deployment. You will analyze requirements, influence architecture and technology choices, and collaborate with product teams to deliver robust systems.

You will also review code, resolve complex issues, optimize performance, and contribute to documentation and engineering practices while mentoring junior engineers and evaluating new technologies for value.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Take ownership of complex features and technical components from design through deployment.
• Analyse requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Make appropriate decisions around architecture, design patterns, frameworks, and technology choices.
• Develop and integrate APIs, databases, third-party services, and other system components.
• Review code and provide constructive technical guidance to other engineers.
• Investigate complex technical issues and drive them through to resolution.
• Identify performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability improvements.
• Work closely with Technical Leads, Product Managers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, development practices, and engineering processes.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Evaluate relevant emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where they provide genuine value.
