Responsibilities

• Work closely with Architects, Leads/Project Manager and Developers
• Should own and accountable for End-to End delivery of product components until production release.
• Product configuration in productions for HA and Scale.
• Understanding detailed design, Coding, Unit Testing, Performance testing / Analysis, Troubleshooting & Bug fixing
• Document use cases, flow chart, sequence diagrams, class diagrams work with team members to complete application development
• Hands on coding skills Client interfacing for technical explanations and discussions
• Troubleshooting and resolution of product issues from production environment.
• Interacting with the Engineering for supporting/maintaining/designing backend infrastructure for product support.
• Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades and monitoring through DevOps tools meant for Cloud management.
• Build documentation of operating procedures and provide knowledge transfer.
• Collaborative working with team and provide timely updates and reports to leads

Nice to Have

• Working experience on NOSQL database preferably HBase
• Working experience on Databricks/Spark and related technical stack
• Experience working in the Multi cloud environment
• Terraform experience to build and deploy, CICD and automation

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or have equivalent experience.
• 5 -8 years of IT experience
• Total engineering experience: 5 +years
  • Should be hands on Java, Micro services architecture, Restful WS, Spring, Hadoop, NoSQL/HBase, AWS/GCP, Databricks/Spark
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent hands-on coding skills in Java
  • Good experience of Java collections & multithreading patterns/programming
  • Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Ability to suggest usage design patterns and algorithms while following the best practices of software development.
  • Experience with Spring boot and micro-services development with Spring.
  • Experience with relational database systems MySQL/Oracle etc.. & any ORM
  • Good working experience with Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Proficient with version control, such as GitHub and CI/CD tools and technologies
  • Good knowledge on Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, HBase, Hive etc..)
  • Good Knowledge on Databricks/Spark and related technical stack.
• Other Skills:
  • Strong written + verbal communication
  • E2E Product Lifecycle Management experience
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices
  • Good understanding of dev processes (quality, build, deploy strategies, etc)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
