What Your Quarters Will Look Like

• Architect & Own: Lead multi-service systems handling millions of transactions, explicitly reasoning about contracts, failure modes, and cross-service observability.
• Drive Design & ROI: Execute high- and low-level designs, making critical build/buy/defer choices framed by contribution-margin.
• Elevate Operations: Own engineering operations (SLIs/SLAs, MTTR/MTTA) and build automated remediation systems (throttles, auto-retries) to prevent repeat incidents.
• Write Exemplary Code: Ship clean, maintainable, production-grade code using SOLID principles, ensuring interfaces withstand 2-3x system growth.
• Be a Force Multiplier: Intro cutting-edge AI workflows that lift the entire team's velocity, and provide behavior-based mentorship to senior and junior engineers.
• The Experience: You bring 7+ years of software development experience (SDE 4 or equivalent senior IC role), ideally within fast-paced startups or scale-ups.
• The Track Record: You have a proven history of scaling production systems end-to-end across multiple quarters and domains.
• The Tech Stack: Deeply familiar with modern backend stacks, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data structures, and object-oriented design.
