Job summary

tarams is seeking a Java/J2EE professional to design and develop enterprise class applications on the Java/Java EE platform. The role involves troubleshooting performance and memory issues and coordinating release cycles for a small development team.

You will interact with clients to gather requirements, translate them into robust solutions, and ensure high quality across projects. 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Java EE, Spring, Struts, and REST/SOAP is expected.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in design and development of J2EE applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java EE concepts like EJB3.0, JPA.
• Excellent OOAD and Core/Advanced Java skills.
• Solid database design experience.
• Experience with Java/Java EE design patterns.
• Experience with Spring, Struts and JUnit.
• Familiar with WebLogic or WebSphere and deployment concepts.
• Experience with SOAP or REST-based Web Services.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Go-getter, able to think out of the box and take ownership.
