Job summary

CleanStart, Inc. in Ahmedabad is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own features from requirements to production. You will lead technical decisions, review code and mentor engineers while building backend services, APIs and frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React.js and NestJS.

You will design data models, optimize queries, and work on software supply-chain security, container images, and Kubernetes integrations with GCP and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with Node.js and React.js experience.
• Basic understanding of Rust and willingness to grow in it.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and scalable systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps tooling.

# Senior Software EngineerLocation:AhmedabadDepartment:EngineeringExperience:7-10 Years### **Senior Software Engineer** **Company:** CleanStart **Location:** Ahmedabad **Experience:** 3-5 years ### **About the role**We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build secure, scalable products for enterprise developers, DevOps and infrastructure teams. You will own features from requirements and design through to production.### **What you will do*** Own product features end to end: requirements, design, build, test, deploy and support.* Lead technical decisions, review code and mentor engineers.* Build backend services, APIs and frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React.js and NestJS. You will also work with Rust where needed.* Design and optimise data models and queries (ClickHouse, SQL and NoSQL).* Build software supply-chain security features: provenance, dependency analysis, vulnerability management and artifact integrity.* Build and optimise container images and Kubernetes integrations.* Automate delivery with GCP, Argo CD and CI/CD pipelines.* Work with product, security, developer and infrastructure teams, and improve reliability and developer experience.Must have* Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on Node.js, React.js and NestJS.* Basic understanding of Rust (willingness to learn and grow in it).* Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design principles, and scalable, fault-tolerant systems.* Strong SQL (query optimisation, indexing, schema design).
