Job summary

Crimson Interactive Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior SDE-II to lead backend initiatives and AWS cloud design. You will build scalable features using Node.js/TypeScript, and optimize serverless architectures while collaborating across engineering, product, and operations teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend development, strong AWS experience, and a DevOps mindset. You will engage in testing, monitoring, and ensuring production readiness in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of backend experience with Node.js.
• At least 3 years of AWS optimization experience with serverless design.
• Hands-on AWS with Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Familiar with testing, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and frontend JS frameworks (Vue/React).
• Proficient in Docker and cloud infrastructure cost optimization.

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Development Engineer - SDE-II (full-time) you will be working as highly challenging backend projects and AWS cloud infrastructure design, optimization, and maintainance projects. You are expected to have minimum of 3 years of strong backend experience (Node.js) and minimum 3 years of strong AWS optimization experience (with emphasis on Serveless architecture design).

On a typical day, you may build a feature, collaborate on a design, architect a solution, break down an epic, estimate deadlines for the projects, tune a data pipeline, plan a technology migration, help diagnose a customer issue, drive consensus on a new practice, or collaborate with another engineer.You will be responsible for writing highly performant, testable code with following strong software design patterns. You will help in maintaining the quality of product and codebase by actively participating in code-review processes. Review approaches created by yur peers and juniors and collaborate with them to find the optimal solutions to the problems. Our engineers are involved in all development stages, with an eye toward rapid, agile iteration. Youll collaborate with other engineers to develop new capabilities in our platform. Experience

You have 3+ years of experience working with Node/JavaScript/TypeScript environmentYou are comfortable working with AWS and Linux and believe in a DevOps mindset. You have hands on AWS experience with Technologies like Lambda functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB etc. You have proven experience working with relational (Postgres/MySQL) and document (MongoDB) databases. You have sound judgment across back-end frameworks and are familiar with various databases. You are pragmatic, not dogmatic, and are aware of the strengths & weaknesses of your tools. You enjoy breaking down complex problems into small tasks and PRs to deliver value safely and incrementally. You have a growth mindset that applies to yourself and your team. You are excited to learn and show how to improve team standards, practices, and tools. You consider testing, monitoring, and observability first-order priorities. Until your code runs in production and returns the results and metrics you expect, you know your work isn't complete.
