Job summary

KSB Company in Maharashtra is looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Specialist to enhance their SAP programming capabilities. The role involves supporting the Global IT Organization in various ABAP programming tasks and consulting on operational needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP, proficiency in several SAP tools, and a solid understanding of the manufacturing process. Good English skills are necessary, and knowledge of German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming.
• Basic knowledge of SAP HANA.
• Basic knowledge of various functional modules of SAP like SD, PP, MM, QM, FI and CO.
• Basic process knowledge of manufacturing/engineering industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of German language appreciated but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support and consult KSB Global IT Organization in SAP ABAP programming.
• Consult operational departments regarding SAP Basis and ABAP topics.
• Support SAP Projects like rollout for different countries and new interfaces.

Senior SAP ABAP Specialist

SAP ABAP programming to support KSB Global IT Organization.

Support existing ABAP Objects available in SAP Production system.

Major Responsibilities

• Support and consult the KSB Global IT Organization in SAP ABAP programming.
• Support KSB AG Central IT in ABAP programming with the required skill set:
  • Basic ABAP
  • Advanced ABAP – Object Oriented ABAP
  • SAP Forms: SAP Script, Smartform and Adobe Form
  • SAP Enhancements: User Exit, BADIs, Enhancement Framework
  • Batch Data Communication
  • Module pool programming
  • BAPI, Rest API
  • Interface: ALE IDoC
  • SAP OData Services
  • HANA ABAP: CDS view, AMDP
  • HANA Database procedure, Calculation views, Table functions
  • SAP FIORI/UI5
• Support SAP system operation and ABAP development.
• Consultation of operational departments concerning SAP Basis and ABAP topics with development of suitable solutions for day-to-day business by coordination of SAP Functional team.
• Support SAP Projects like rollout for different countries and set up of new interfaces with other non-SAP systems and applications.

Requirements

Formal Education: B.E / MCA.

Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming.
