Job summary

Quantiphi Analytics Solution Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer specializing in Ruby on Rails to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications. You will analyze existing applications, capture client requirements, implement new features, and ensure seamless integration across the full development lifecycle using AWS, Kubernetes, and modern REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing web apps on AWS
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, API design, and architecture
• Experience with REST API, Docker, and back-end development
• In-depth knowledge of OOP concepts, data structures, algorithms, APIs, web services, and SQL
• Knowledge of Rust language is mandatory and experience with Actix-web/Rocket/Warp and Diesel ORM
• Ability to lead technical solution development from scratch and mentor a team of developers

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of the 8 business applications and 8 internal tooling applications hosted on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Analyze the backend stack developed on REST API and integration for the applications
• Analyze data sources and different types of data associated with the applications on GKE
• Analyze Client’s deployment strategy on Kubernetes Platform using ArgoCDs
• Design an end-state architecture considering AWS best practices across five pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency and Cost Optimisation
• Design a Migration Development roadmap and strategy to lift and shift the applications hosted on GKE to AWS EKS and associated PostgreSQL Databases

JOB ROLE - Senior Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to help design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the existing application, communicating with clients to understand their requirements, developing new functionalities, and providing resolutions for issues. You will play a crucial role in the full development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration, optimization, and troubleshooting of our application solutions.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

Must-have skills:

• Well versed with microservice architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns and frameworks.
• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, API design and architecture design.
• Experience with Rest API, Docker, Back-end.
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming(OOPs) concepts, data structures, algorithms, APIs, web services, SQL concepts.
• Knowledge of the Rust programming language is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Actix-web / Rocket or Warp framework used for Rust API development and Diesel ORM.
• Ability to lead the technical solution development from scratch and to lead a team of developers in the implementation.

Good-to-have skills:

• Knowledge of GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and migration to AWS EKS for containerized workloads/applications.
• Experience in designing application migration roadmap plans and implementation strategy
