Job summary

Chola is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our backend engineering team in Chennai. You will design, develop, and optimize Java-based applications and microservices powering business operations.

You will work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs, collaborating with frontend teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. A strong focus on code quality, testing, and performance will be essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
