Job Description

As a Sr. SOC (Cyber Defense) Specialist at Juspay, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital infrastructure from cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing and managing cybersecurity measures to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents. Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat hunting and proactive security assessments to detect and mitigate potential risks.
• Implement and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusions detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incident
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement security controls and best practices across the organization.
• Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to continuously improve cyber defense capabilities.
• Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness in the field of cyber defense
• Automate day to day cyber defence operational activities.

Skill & Experience Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the SOC domain preferably AWS will overlap into the fie of Information Security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend effective solution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team
• Experience in product based startups is an added advantage.
• Independent, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with teams ranging from product, administration to engineering and infra.
