About the role

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring Lead to manage 24x7 MSS SOC operations, ensuring effective threat monitoring, SLA adherence and high-quality incident response. This role will oversee L1/L2 analysts, drive governance, reporting and act as the interface between internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, stakeholder management and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing and guiding L1/L2 analysts who handle alerts and incidents.
• Ensuring the SOC runs smoothly without interruptions.
• Keeping track of performance metrics like alert volumes and response times.
• Handling escalations and making sure deadlines (SLAs) are met.
• Reviewing the quality of incident handling and improving detection processes.
• Reporting results and updates to leadership and clients.
• Running governance meetings and presenting performance updates.
• Building strong client relationships and ensuring they are satisfied with the service.
• Introducing best practices, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• Coaching and mentoring your team to help them grow.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in MSS SOC / Cybersecurity Operations.
• Minimum 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools such as Securonix, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, etc.
• Strong understanding of incident management, threat monitoring and SLA governance.
• Proven experience in stakeholder and client management.
• Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM (good to have)
• SIEM or platform-specific certifications (good to have)
