Job summary

Miratech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions. You will implement ETL/ELT workflows, build scalable data pipelines with Python and SQL, and work across AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in CI/CD and Agile practices, and collaborate with architects, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into robust, data-driven software solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development with Snowflake and Python.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Back-end apps, APIs, data-driven solutions experience.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL or similar.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Engineer with strong expertise in snowflake, Python development, SQL, and data engineering principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, APIs, and data processing solutions. The role requires hands-on coding, database optimization, data pipeline development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Experience building backend applications, APIs, and data-driven solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Apache Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development practices.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and software deployment processes.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to modern data warehouse and analytics platforms.
