Job summary

Celigo, Inc. is seeking an AWS System Development Engineer-1 to design and develop backend features for the integrator.io platform using AWS technologies.

You will build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that connect business applications like NetSuite, Salesforce, Google, Amazon, Magento, and more. The role focuses on deployment automation, system optimization, and seamless integrations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of hands-on software development experience in cloud-based environments.
• Strong AWS hands-on experience (Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend features for the integrator.io platform using AWS technologies.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security through monitoring and improvements.
• Develop and integrate automated deployment pipelines following CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Maintain clear documentation of architectures, code, and processes.
• Stay updated on AWS technologies and apply new knowledge to optimize the platform.

• Design & Development:
• Leverage AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation) to build scalable solutions.
• System Optimization:
• Enhance application performance, reliability, and security through continuous monitoring and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
• DevOps & Automation:
• Develop and integrate automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth system integrations and continuous delivery.
• Work alongside product, operations, and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain clear documentation of system architectures, code, and development processes.
• Stay updated on the latest AWS technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to improve our platform.

Required Skills

• Experience:
• 3-7 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based or product-driven environment.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Core Competencies:
• Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
