Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a Senior SIEM Engineer in Chennai to lead SIEM engineering and SOC operations with 8–10 years of experience.

You will work hands-on with Splunk Enterprise and Microsoft Sentinel, design correlation rules, manage incidents, and collaborate across teams to strengthen security posture. The role requires strong analytics, documentation, and communication skills, with exposure to MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain frameworks, and compliance considerations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SIEM engineering and SOC operations.
• Hands-on expertise with Splunk Enterprise and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong understanding of SIEM architecture, log source integration, and correlation rule development.
• Experience with incident management, alert analysis, and use case development.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and Kill Chain frameworks.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, security hardening, and compliance standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot SIEM platform issues and integrate new devices.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage SIEM engineering tasks and SOC operations in a 24x7 environment.
• Develop and tune SIEM correlation rules and dashboards.
• Integrate log sources and ensure incident responsiveness and reporting.
• Coordinate with security teams for alert analysis and incident resolution.
