Job summary

SecurityHQ Ltd. in Pune, India, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join the 24x7 SOC. You will support the Integration Team, directing strategic and operational security tasks across SIEM platforms including QRadar, Splunk, Datadog, and Azure Sentinel.

You will onboard devices, develop log connectors, validate log parsing, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely incident resolution and effective log collection. Strong scripting and cloud skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior SIEM administration and integration experience with Splunk, Datadog or Azure Sentinel.
• Experience in network and endpoint device integration and administration.
• Knowledge of device integration: log and flows collection.
• Regex and scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, PowerShell); API implementation and development.
• Experience in parser creation and maintenance; cloud tech familiarity.
• Strong verbal and written communication; on-call readiness.
• Hands-on experience in networking, security solutions, and endpoint operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate integration and content management for SIEM platforms (QRadar/Splunk/Datadog/Azure Sentinel).
• Troubleshoot across OSI layers to resolve incidents and issues.
• Onboard Windows Security Events, Firewalls, Antivirus, Proxy, and other devices to QRadar/SIEM.
• Onboard non-standard devices via product research and cross-team coordination.
• Develop and deploy connectors and scripts for log collection in cloud solutions.
• Validate parsing and normalization of logs for SOC handover daily.
• Coordinate with customer and internal teams on log collection issues.
• Ensure teams complete log validation, LSNR automation, and content management before production.
• Troubleshoot API-based log sources and maintain integration docs.

Job Description:

We’re searching for Senior Security Engineer to assist our 24×7 managed security operations center. This role is in Integration Department, responsible for the strategic, technical, and operational direction of the Integration Team.

Responsibilities:

• IBM QRadar/ Sentinel / Datadog , Integration and content management, Event Collector deployment/upgradation.
• Troubleshooting skills at all layers of OSI Model.
• Onboard all standard devices to QRadar, such as Windows Security Events, Firewalls, Antivirus, Proxy etc.
• Onboard non-standard devices by researching the product and coordinating with different teams. Such as application onboarding or onboarding new security products.
• Developing and Deploying connectors and scripts for log collection for cloud-based solutions.
• Detailed validation of parsing and normalization of logs before handing over to SOC team will be day to day Job.
• Coordinate between customer and internal teams for issues related to log collection.
• The engineer needs to make sure that various team have completed their tasks, such as log validation, Log Source Not Reporting (LSNR Automation), Content Management before the Log Source is in production.
• Troubleshooting API based log sources.
• Documentation of integrations and versioning.
