Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Incident Response Engineer to design and lead security incident response efforts. You will investigate high-severity incidents, perform forensic analysis, and guide junior engineers while aligning response with threat intelligence and documented processes.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong SIEM/EDR tooling skills, and advanced certifications (CISSP/GCIH/OSCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on incident response or threat detection.
• Experience leading incident response efforts in SOC or similar environment.
• Expert understanding of networking concepts and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Proficiency with incident response and forensic tools including SIEM, EDR, malware analysis.
• Strong knowledge of malware behavior, reverse engineering, and advanced threat detection.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, OSCP or similar are required.
• Bachelor's degree required; a Master’s degree preferred.

• Relevant advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or similar are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
