Job summary

Softenger is seeking an experienced cybersecurity leader to drive an enterprise-scale SIEM migration and implementation. You will design scalable log collection, parsing, normalization, and correlation architectures, migrate sources, dashboards, alerts, and detections, and mentor engineers across SOC, Infra, Cloud, Identity, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead an enterprise-scale SIEM migration and implementation program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SIEM migration and implementation
• Design scalable log collection, parsing, normalization, and correlation architectures
• Migrate log sources, dashboards, alerts, detections, reports, and integrations
• Develop and optimize detection rules, threat hunting queries, and security analytics
• Collaborate with SOC, Infrastructure, Cloud, Identity, and Engineering teams
• Drive testing, validation, cutover planning, and production go-live
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership

We’re looking for professionals with:

• 8+ years of SIEM Engineering / Security Operations experience
• Experience leading enterprise-scale SIEM migrations or greenfield deployments
• Expertise in log management, detection engineering, threat detection, and incident response
• Hands-on experience integrating identity, endpoint, cloud, firewall, DNS, proxy, DLP, and application logs
• Strong Python, PowerShell, and API automation skills
• Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and the Cyber Kill Chain

Preferred:

• Experience in large global enterprise environments
• SOC transformation and cloud security experience
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GIAC, or equivalent
