Job summary

Sycamore Informatics Inc. in India seeks an experienced SAS Programmer to design, develop and maintain interactive applications with cloud-based systems and SaaS deployments.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in SAS programming, strong data-driven automation, and knowledge of clinical data management (raw to SDTM) and regulatory environments. You will collaborate with analysts and domain experts, support UAT, ensure data quality, and contribute to documentation and alignment with Sycamore

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Statistics, Computer Science, Maths, Life Sciences, or related field or any other related discipline.
• Proficiency in SAS, SAS Macro and and other latest programming languages for application development.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of SaaS applications and deployment strategies.
• Basic knowledge of clinical data management and transformation (raw to SDTM) and industry regulations such as CDISC.
• REST API framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive applications using SAS, SAS macros and R-Shiny, Python.
• Work with cloud platforms to understand how applications interact within the framework of cloud systems
• Integrate SaaS-based solutions into existing workflows.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, reliability, and security.
• Connect with other systems using REST API for bi-directional data exchange.
• Support clinical data management processes by automating data submission process (SDTMs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and domain experts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and data processing.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to ensure clear and accurate requirements documentation.
• Develop a foundational understanding of clinical trial data and metadata to support business solutions.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure business requirements are met.
• Support the documentation and alignment of business and technical processes with Sycamore Informatics product requirements.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
