Job summary

Arthrex India is seeking a Senior SAP PO Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions across SAP and other business applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on SAP PI/PO and ABAP integration specialist with strong experience in SAP PO 7.4 or higher.

You will own end-to-end integration projects, lead offshore teams, and collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver scalable interfaces, mappings, and web services.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PO Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions across SAP and other business applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on SAP PI/PO and ABAP integration specialist with strong experience in SAP PO 7.4 or higher, integration architecture, interfaces, mappings, adapters, and SAP cloud integration.

Role Description

This is a senior technical role requiring end‑to‑end ownership of integration solutions, collaboration with global business and technical teams, technical leadership, and support across implementation, enhancement, migration, and production environments.

• Act as a Senior SAP Integration Developer and technical thought leader for SAP integration initiatives.
• Lead SAP PO and cloud integration projects across the complete software development lifecycle.
• Architect, design, build, test, and maintain application integration solutions between SAP and enterprise applications.
• Apply integration patterns and best practices while developing SAP and ABAP-based integration objects.
• Analyze ABAP code objects and complex business processes to support functional and technical requirement documentation.
• Create technical requirements, solution specifications, interface designs, and integration documentation.
• Configure SAP Web Services and ALE distribution models.
• Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, OData, BADIs, BAPIs, and user exits.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, ABAP developers, BASIS teams, and enterprise application teams.
• Lead and guide offshore development teams during implementation of integration solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, unit test results, performance test results, and migration plans.
• Participate in production support, issue analysis, troubleshooting, and application performance improvement.
• Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to CI/CD and engineering process improvements.
• Adhere to Quality System Procedures, Change Control, and software development standards.

Primary Skills (must Have Skills)

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP PI/PO and ABAP.
• Minimum 3 years of experience configuring and using SAP PO 7.4 or higher on Java Stack.
• Strong understanding of SAP PO components including System Landscape Directory (SLD), business systems, technical landscape, Integration Repository, interface objects, mapping objects, and adapter objects.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP integration architecture, interface development, mappings, adapters, and integration patterns.
• Experience with user exits, IDocs, OData, BADIs, and BAPIs.
• Minimum 2 full‑lifecycle SAP implementation experiences.
• At least 1 year of experience with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud PI on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Strong ABAP code analysis skills for integration‑related issue investigation and requirement understanding.
• Experience configuring SAP Web Services and ALE distribution models.
• Experience integrating SAP with major ERP and enterprise applications.
• Strong technical documentation, testing, migration planning, and production support experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non‑technical global stakeholders.

Secondary Skills (good To Have)

• JavaScript or Groovy scripting experience.
• Experience with scripting frameworks, relational database programming, or object‑oriented programming.
• Experience building APIs for internal and external products.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and CI/CD improvements.
• SAP HANA, Java, SAP PO, or SAP CPI certification.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading offshore development teams.

• 3+ years of SAP PO 7.4 or higher Java Stack experience is required.
• 2+ full‑lifecycle SAP implementation experiences are required.
• Relevant SAP HANA, Java, SAP PO, or CPI certifications are preferred.

• This is a senior‑level technical Individual Contributor and integration leadership role.
• Strong hands‑on SAP PI/PO development and SAP integration architecture experience is critical.
• Candidates with only production support experience and limited implementation or integration development exposure may not be suitable.
• Strong communication, customer service orientation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills are essential.
• Candidate should be comfortable supporting production issues and critical integration activities when required.
