About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator with extensive experience in HANA upgrades to lead our SAP landscape transformation. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing complex SAP system upgrades and migrations.

Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP HANA upgrade projects from planning to execution.

- Assess current SAP landscape and develop upgrade strategies.

- Perform system analysis, sizing, and performance tuning.

- Manage technical aspects of the upgrade process, including database migration and system configuration.

- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure smooth business operations during and after the upgrade.

- Provide technical guidance and support to the BASIS team.

- Ensure system stability, performance, and security.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SRM, APO, CRM, PI, and SOLMAN.

- In-depth knowledge of HANA database and SAP on HANA architecture.

- Proven experience in planning and executing SAP HANA upgrades.

- Strong understanding of operating systems (Solaris, Linux, AIX, Windows Server).

- Expertise in SAP and database clustering.

- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).

- SAP certifications
