Job summary

Civica India is seeking a skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our multicultural software team in Vadodara. You will design, develop, and deploy Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements across the full software lifecycle.

You will work with architects and stakeholders, implement integrations, stay current with Salesforce releases, and contribute to governance and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce Platform tools.
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions across the full SDLC.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Proactive, collaborative, customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customise Salesforce solutions following best practices.
• Develop scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Platform tools.
• Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and project teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and web services.
• Take ownership of assigned modules, ensuring delivery on time and to a high standard.
• Contribute to governance and architecture initiatives to maintain platform quality, security, compliance, and reliability
• Support environment management, release management, and deployment processes.
• Stay current with Salesforce product releases, new features, and industry best practices.

Highly Desirable

• Strong experience with:

  • REST APIs and web services

• Experience implementing and supporting:

  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • OAuth
  • SAML
  • Active Directory / ADFS

• Experience with Salesforce data migration, data modelling, and schema design.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with other Salesforce Clouds and third-party solutions such as:

  • LinkedIn
  • Eloqua
  • AppExchange products

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.

• Legacy application modernisation and redevelopment experience.
