Job summary

Qualifications

• MD / DNB in Radiodiagnosis or Radiology.
• Relevant experience in diagnostic radiology or residency training.
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate State Medical Council.
• Good knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and radiology procedures.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging examinations as per clinical requirements.
• Review imaging findings and correlate them with relevant clinical information.
• Prepare accurate and timely radiology reports.
• Assist in and supervise appropriate radiology procedures as per training and competency.
• Communicate significant or urgent findings to treating physicians when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and radiology documentation.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, patient safety, and hospital quality protocols.
• Coordinate with consultants, clinicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in departmental activities, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards in all patient interactions and clinical duties.
