Senior Relationship Manager

Location: Upupi

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• The job holder is a key member of a team responsible for managing Niva Bupa regional sales through the bancassurance partner. The role involves working closely with partner channel and branch managers to ensure the timely delivery of high‑value, high‑quality services to bancassurance beneficiaries.
• Achieve the assigned annual target of the branch by driving sales across all customer segments, ensuring a blended premium mix and a high number of cases.
• Maintain cordial relationships across all ranks of the branch and resolve escalations within defined time‑frames.
• Support the bank’s sales force with:
  • Joint sales calls to generate leads.
  • Updating branch manager on accurate records of referrals.
  • Adhering to TATs on first customer contact and follow‑ups.
  • Service branch customers for any queries.
  • Providing regular product training and refresher sessions to the branch sales force.
  • Ensuring activation of the bank’s sales force on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
  • Driving productivity by right‑advising health insurance solutions.
  • Measuring penetration across relationship managers, client base and branch base.
  • Updating the MBHI lead management system.
  • Engaging in branch customer awareness programs and exploring bundling opportunities.
  • Creating mindshare across the branch leadership team.
  • Driving reward and recognition programmes for bank staff.
