Job summary

Gomobilitysoft is seeking a Senior React Native Developer to own mobile development end-to-end, from architecture to store releases. You will work with a lean team on scalable mobile products for enterprise clients, shaping features from design to deployment.

You will build in React Native and TypeScript, manage the build pipeline, and ensure performance, offline capability, and smooth app sizing on both iOS and Android. Hybrid work with Wednesdays and Thursdays is required.

Senior React Native Developer

Experience

Overview

Our client is looking for a Senior React Native Developer who can own mobile development end-to-end — not a feature-ticket role. This person is accountable for architecture, features, the build pipeline, and store releases, working directly from designs and requirements and making architectural calls in collaboration with our engineering team. You'll work closely with a lean engineering team building scalable mobile products for enterprise clients.

Day-to-Day

• Build in React Native and TypeScript, integrating REST APIs with clean state management and navigation
• Own performance, offline behaviour, crash-free rates, and app size on both iOS and Android
• Work directly from designs and requirements, making architectural calls in collaboration with engineers
• Collaborate closely with QA and backend teams
• Ship releases to both the App Store and Play Store solo — build, sign, submit, and handle review end-to-end

Must-Haves (Hard Filters)

• Production apps live on both iOS and Android — not one platform only, and not internal/POC apps
• Strong iOS depth — Xcode, Swift/Objective-C native modules, code signing and provisioning profiles, TestFlight, and App Store review handling (this is our strongest preference and the most common gap we screen for)
• Hands-on, current experience with React Native + TypeScript
• Has personally owned the build pipeline and store release process — not just written features
• Can take a feature from design to store without a spec being handed to them

Preferred

• Written custom native modules or bridged native SDKs
• Offline-first architecture and app performance/size optimisation
• Has navigated an App Store rejection and resolved it independently

Additional Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Strong experience with React Native components, hooks, navigation, and performance optimisationil
• Hands-on experience with state management: Redux/Redux Toolkit, Context API
• Solid understanding of Mobile UX principles, Apple HIG, and Material Design guidelines
• Experience with testing frameworks: Jest, Detox, React Native Testing Library
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines: Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions
• Experience with Git workflows, Agile/Scrum, code reviews, Android Studio, Gradle, and CocoaPods
• Good knowledge of API integration (REST/GraphQL), authentication, and third-party SDK integrations
