Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer in Chennai to build scalable web applications using Next.js and React. You will collaborate with product managers and backend developers to translate designs into functional user interfaces.

You will write clean, well-documented code, optimize performance across devices, and participate in code reviews. Experience with SSR/SSG, Tailwind CSS, and modern tooling is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management (Redux, React Context API), and front-end routing.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
• Demonstrable experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests for frontend components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
