The role emphasizes hands-on AI application in UI automation or performance engineering and collaboration with product and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related domain.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Automation / Performance Engineering (Mandatory)
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in one of the following areas: UI Automation, Selenium, Playwright, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript, Automation framework design; OR Performance Engineering, JMeter, LoadRunner, Performance Testing and Analysis, Performance Engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience applying AI and Generative AI in software engineering workflows.
• Experience identifying engineering use cases and implementing AI-powered solutions.
• Knowledge of AI Agents, Agent Workflows, LLMs, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with code generation, test generation, defect analysis, and engineering productivity use cases.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and modern AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI across software engineering and quality engineering processes.
• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions to improve engineering productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain AI agents, copilots, and reusable workflows for engineering use cases.
• Apply AI across the SDLC, including requirements analysis, test scenario generation, automation development, code generation, test data generation, impact analysis, defect triaging, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks or performance engineering assets based on area of specialization.
• Integrate AI solutions with modern engineering platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Platform, and Engineering teams to drive AI adoption and innovation.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical implementation strategies.
• Mentor engineering teams and champion AI-first engineering practices.
