Job summary

FCM Travel India seeks a senior QA engineer to strengthen its agile QA practice. You will create and maintain test plans, perform functional, integration, and regression testing, and contribute to automation to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.

You will analyze requirements, develop risk-based testing strategies, and collaborate with teams across Europe and the Americas. A strong background in travel domain testing and experience with GDS or booking systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 8+ years of strong experience in QA.
• Time zone flexibility to work with Europe and Americas.
• Strong knowledge of software testing theory and QA processes.
• Hands-on experience in low-level test case creation, test plans, and traceability.
• Exposure to travel domain; testing experience with GDS or booking systems is a plus.
• Azure DevOps Test Plan usage as a test management system is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Experience in business requirements analysis and reviewing technical docs.
• Proactive testing approach and ability to perform integration and functional testing.

Day in the life:

• Work in an Agile environment and adhere to all QA best practices.
• Create and maintain test plans that will complement the Product Owners’ user stories.
• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, Re- testing and contribute to automation.
• Analyse product requirements and ensure the testing strategy is aligning a risk-based test approach mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing.
