About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional (technical) requirements.
• Work with Linux environments for test execution, debugging, and environment setup.
• Use Docker to create, manage, and troubleshoot test environments.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and provide input on improving test coverage and automation efficiency.
• (Good to have) Deploy, test, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• (Good to have) Knowledge about leveraging generative AI in test automation.

Required Skills

• Strong experience working in Linux command-line environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker (building images, running containers, debugging).
• Solid understanding of BDD principles and experience using Cucumber, Cypress.
• Ability to analyze requirements and documentation to create effective test cases.
• Good understanding of CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git). Experience setting up CI pipelines in Jenkins/Git or similar.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes (pods, deployments, services).
