Job summary

Dover India in Bengaluru seeks a Senior QA Engineer to own firmware/software validation on embedded platforms. You will design and execute test plans, perform functional and regression testing, and develop automation scripts to improve coverage and speed.

Applicants should have 4–7 years of experience with BE, plus hands-on with hardware interfaces, test tools, and CI/CD. The role requires collaboration across hardware and software teams to ensure quality delivery.

Must Have Skills

Primary skills

• Strong experience in firmware/embedded testing and validation.
• Mandatory expertise in test automation (Python preferred, C# is a plus, FITNESSE).
• Experience in developing automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer), Reading Schematics.
• Experience with communication protocols (communication stacks) (Ethernet and others)
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, qTest)
• Experience in log analysis and debugging issues.

Secondary Skills

• Experience and hands-on with continuous integration (CI/CD) tools (JENKINS, GitLab, CI).
• Exposure to hardware testing setups.
• Understanding coding standards and compliance.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC/STLC.
• Experience in performance and stress testing of firmware.

50% - 50% - C# or Python or Java programming ( Must Good in Programming and Its Concepts like OOPS) , Test cases writing, designing test cases , Automation of Test cases Writing Test Scripts , Embedded( Industrial Automation) , oscilloscope, logic analyser
